Forest Creator

Do you wonder how nature can inspire your children - to see how they use the great outdoors as a special world in which they explore, get imaginative, express themselves and tap into their creativity? We do too! At our Forest Creators Groups, you'll find weekly nature activities designed for children to explore their creativity with each season. Forest Creator Groups are parent-led, with open-ended activities using natural materials. Your leader provides a creative prompt for the week - i.e mud painting - along with any supplies needed. Your child then takes the project in any direction he or she desires. This is a chance for children to express themselves in a place where muddy messes are welcome. Forest Explorer Groups run weekly for a full season, four times a year, winter, spring, summer and fall. NEW!

Forest Discoverer

Let's dive in deeper to discover the outdoors. We're excited to partner with educator and founder of Your Natural Learner, Leah McDermott, to bring you our newest group, Forest Discoverers. Leah brings her Masters in Education along with her experience in developing nature-inspired curriculum to this joint project. With Forest Discoverers, you'll find an in-depth weekly nature curriculum specifically designed to help children discover the season. Each week focuses on a different theme - i.e. sun, bugs, color, patterns, small parts, trees, etc. - with three engagement activities to bring the theme to life. You'll also receive information on ways to continue the discovery process at home, as well. Like our other groups, Forest Discoverers is parent-led, with open-ended activities using natural materials. Your leader provides any supplies as needed, along with all take home resources.
