GEAR: There is water at our location, so rain and water gear (boots, rain suits, water gloves, etc) are strongly recommended. While not required, rain boots (or waterproof shoes) are helpful for adults too. Feel free to bring buckets and other tools to aid in digging and exploring. The bugs are also starting to come out again, so a bug spray is also recommended. We keep towels and a change of clothes in the car (and often bring this gear with us into the woods).
LOCATION: Loantaka Brook Reservation, Kitchell Road entrance in Morristown, NJ
Note: I use 119-121 Kitchell road as the destination address, and this gets me right next to the entrance of the Kitchell road side of Loantaka.
