As summer bursts upon us, we'd like to introduce our new Creators class. At our Forest Creators Group, you'll find weekly nature activities designed for children to explore their creativity with each session. Forest Creator Groups are parent-led, with open-ended activities using natural materials. Your leaders provide a creative prompt for the week- i.e. mud painting- along with any supplies needed. Your child then takes the project in any direction they desire. This is a chance for children to express themselves in a place where muddy messes are welcome.
We'll meet on Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm for 12 weeks, starting June 23rd, at Sunny Ridge Preserve. If you aren't a member yet, this class is a great reason to join Forest School For All! LOCATION: Kitchawan Preserve - where Pinesbridge Rd intersects Rt 134, in Ossining. Note: Parking is limited. Please be considerate and park as closely together as possible to make room for other cars. Walk into the park about 200 feet down the trail to meet (entrance has a gate across it). We like to play in the creek, so be prepared to get very wet and muddy!
