LOCATION: South Mountain Reservation, Brookside Drive
Note: There is a dirt parking lot off the side of the road on Brookside Ave that has a wide trail to explore and leads to the Rahway river.
Directions to entrance on BROOKSIDE AVE (From south orange ave) drive .4 mile, parking is on your LEFT. If you pass a large field on your right you went too far. (From Glenn ave) drive 1.4 miles, parking is on your RIGHT, and after you pass the large field on your left.
Tips: There is often exploration in the water at this location. It's helpful to wear footwear that can get wet, and to bring a change of clothing and a towel.
