GEAR: It will be very chilly, but hopefully we'll have some protection from the trees. It is definitely recommended to wear layers (base layer, warm layer, and then a thick outer layer). Feel free to bring shovels, buckets, and such for exploration of the woods and water. As the weather is starting to get colder we also bring hot beverages and foods, such as tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal, soup/chili, etc.

NOTES: drive all the way to the end of Ford street until you see parking spaces. There's a field, with a baseball diamond and picnic benches. We take the paved road, over the bridge, and then head to the right onto the green trail.
