This Friday, 12/22, we'll divert from our usual location for our winter holiday celebration. Instead, we'll meet at the parking area of Lake Tiorati in order to utilize one of their grills in the picnic area to have a fire! I have called Harriman State Park, and they told me this is an approved place for a fire.
Here's a link to follow to Lake Tiorati. Keep in mind Arden Valley Road is closed (just passed where we normally park at Elk Pens for our current location), the approved way to get there is from Seven Lakes Dr, at the entrance of the traffic circle from Route 6.
This will be a potluck! Bring food to share! Weather (so far) looks like it will cooperate with a high of 40 and rain in the late afternoon.
