Tomorrow there is a 55% chance of thunderstorms with temps in the upper 70s. So far we have been lucky and the storms have waited for us to finish our exploring before they start, so I'm hopeful we will be good for tomorrow! Park in the pavilion 1 parking area and you will see us. We use the picnic table for holding our waters, towels, bug spray, and sunscreen and then explore the beautiful area. There is a creek for exploring, which has been the perfect level recently to see down to the bottom, there is a forest area with a narrow path that runs along the creek, and there is a beautifully shaded grass area where we have found mushrooms, bark, and other nature treasures to appreciate. If there is thunder, we will be there, but we may stay under the pavilion for safety reasons until the storm passes by (unless the pavilion is in use, which is rare on a Tuesday morning, but it does happen).
