All ages, all weather, all abilities welcome!
Expect a pace and rhythm of the children that attend, through unstructured, free play. Watch as the benefits, the magic, and fun of playing in the forest unfolds!

We will attempt to begin to meet again every third Saturday (1 week in the woods, 2 weeks elsewhere and then back in the woods)
WEATHER : We meet in all weather unless its raining (the baby)!

LOCATION: South Mountain Reservation, Brookside Drive
The SAME location as where the FRIDAY group meets up! NOT the location where we usually would meet and hike on Saturdays before...
Park in the forested dirt parking lot off the side of the road on Brookside Ave that has a wide trail to explore and leads to the Rahway river.
Directions to entrance on BROOKSIDE AVE
(From south orange ave) drive .4 mile, parking is on your LEFT. If you pass a large field on your right you went too far.
(From Glenn ave) drive 1.4 miles, parking is on your RIGHT, and after you pass the large field on your left.
Tips: Once in the parking lot, take the path down the hill to you reach the creek, there we will be! Just keep going straight to the water. Bring water shoes and
bathing suits.*
