Join families exploring the forest in Orange County, New York!

All ages, all weather, all abilities welcome!

Expect a pace and rhythm of the children that attend, through unstructured, free play. Watch as the benefits, the magic, and fun of playing in the forest unfolds!

WEATHER: high of 75 degrees, cooler day thanks to the rain Thursday night!

WHEN: 10:30 AM

WHERE: SUMMER LOCATION: Lake Skanatati off Seven Lakes Road in Harriman State Park(link to google map location). We'll meet in the Lake Skanatati parking lot.

Note: We have VERY limited cell coverage there, so can't really answer messages/texts.

If you are running late, take the trails to the right of the lake. Follow the trail along the water and you'll run right into us in less than 15 mins.

Tips: We love this spot because we've never seen a tick there. There's a water hole that's nice for swimming/wading. We will bring a swim suit, swim shoes, and a change of clothes in case we take a dip. Some people pack snacks or lunch, others use hunger as their evacuation plan :-).
