This week we will be meeting at Harts Brooke park and preserve at 930am. Meet in the parking area. I think boots might be advisable considering all the rain and the pond area will be fun to explore! Group snack time afterwards weather permitting. There isn’t fresh drinking water so pack a water bottle. See you in the forest!

The 2.5 miles of the preserve's trails are open to the public. The new pristine woodlands that cover most of the tract contain an abundant variety of native flora and fauna, with streams, ponds, meadows and geologic features of interest. A smaller section of the property had been developed as a more formal horticultural environment that includes specimen trees, bushes and rolling lawns.
