Spring Forest Creators,12 Week Curriculum
Looking to fill your spring with outdoor play and creativity? This program is designed to turn the natural world into a makerspace, giving children access to both natural and human-made materials, as they explore their creativity and learn more about the great outdoors. In this curriculum packet you’ll receive an introduction, a 12-week overview (adaptable to any timeframe), guidance for each week’s programming and a full list of supplies, complete with links for online purchasing.
Ages: approximately 2-6 years old
Warm Weather Forest Discoverers, 12 Week Curriculum
During the warmer months of the year, let's dive deeper to discover the outdoors. We're excited to partner with educator and founder of Your Natural Learner, Leah McDermott, to bring you this 12 week STEAM-focused program (adaptable to any timeframe over spring and summer). Each week centers around a particular theme and offers resources for a themed reading, individual exploration, various activities, and a closing Q&A. Each activity explores different subject areas - such as art, music, science, storytelling, mathematics, geography, engineering, etc. This gives children the opportunity to explore what they are most interested in learning and investigating throughout the warmer season.
